Student Safety

Our Student Safety

Student Safety is our Priority
Student safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a secure, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels supported, valued, and protected.

We recognise that safety extends beyond physical well-being—it includes emotional security, digital safety, and safeguarding against any risks that may affect a child’s learning and development. Our dedicated Safeguarding Team, led by Ms. Seeley, our Vice Principal and Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensures that all students have access to the care and guidance they need.

How We Keep Our Students Safe

Vigilant Safeguarding Measures – Our staff are trained in the latest safeguarding protocols, and we have clear systems in place to identify and respond to concerns.
E-Safety and Digital Security – Through Mobile Device Management (MDM) on student iPads, we ensure a safe and monitored digital environment that protects students online.
A Culture of Care and Well-being – Programmes like the Komodo app (for Years 3-8) encourage students to express their feelings, helping us to support their emotional well-being.
Partnership with Parents – We work closely with families through workshops, meetings, and open communication to reinforce student safety both in and outside of school.
At MTW, we empower students to feel confident, secure, and ready to learn, knowing that their safety is always our top priority.
